What exactly happens when you arrive?
The area which will be pierced is disinfected and cleaned properly. Afterwards it will be marked with a sterile pen. We will then check together with the client that the marking is in the correct spot, where the customer wants it.
We do not do piercings with a “piercing gun”, the area is pierced with a sterile, single-use needle and afterwards a sterile titanium jewelry will be inserted. We do not use jewelry from our customers as starting piercings, this is to make sure that the piercing isn’t infected due to improper material.

Starting jewelry and age limit
Starting jewelry are titanium, which is the least allergic material. If taking a piercing makes you nervous, you are allowed to take a friend with you as support.
Earlobes minimum age is 5 years old. The most important thing however is that the customer acknowledges the situations and is ready to take a piercing. Piercings are 16+ nipple and dermal piercings 18+.
ID has to be shown, identity card, passport or drivers license is acceptable. If you are a minor, you must have your legal guardian with you.
The Piercing after-care is always the customers responsibility and it requires patience. Healing is always individual, even if given an approximate time (Usually 3-12months) depending on the piercing.

Appointment
Appointment is shared with Salon Violets other services. Piercing and consultation services can be found almost at the bottom section “Lävistykset & Tatuoinnit” part. Consultation is always free, if something is on your mind, for example if you have the proper anatomy, reserve a time for a free piercing consultation.
