Take these in consideration

Before the tooth jewel appointment

Take good care of your mouth hygiene. Remember to wash your teeth with great care, before the appointment. If you are arriving directly after work or school, remember to bring a toothbrush and paste. The jewel will last considerably longer, when your teeth are properly washed before the installation.  

Note that after installing the tooth jewel, you are not allowed to eat or drink for at least 2 hours. 

 

  • Tooth jewel is 16+ minimum age is 12 years old, with a legal guardians consent. 
  • How long the jewel lasts can be from 1-12 months + depending on your lifestyle and quality of the saliva.
  • The tooth jewel is installed on a smooth surface. If the tooth is very uneven or curved, the jewel might fall off prematurely.
  • The bigger the jewel, the bigger propability it will fall off early. 

After-care

AFTER THE TOOTH JEWEL APPOINTMENT

Installing a tooth jewel is a safe and fast procedure, but how long it will last depends on how you treat it at home. 

These next instructions will help you keep your tooth jewel beautiful and as long lasting as possible. 

After the procedure avoid brushing your teeth for about 8 hours. After this you can brush them normally, but around the jewel you should do so gently. If you are using an electric toothbrush, make sure you do not brush too close to the jewel.

Take good care of your mouth hygiene and avoid tartar formation.

Tooth jewels aren’t everlasting, it can stay for a month up to a year or even longer, depending on your lifestyle and the quality of your saliva.

Tooth jewel installation does not harm the tooth, when it is properly done and cared for.

DONT DO

Do not eat or drink anything for the first 2 hours. It takes a few hours before the adhesive completely hardens. This way you avoid the risk of having a jewel falling off prematurely.  Avoid biting hard or tenacious foods, such as apples or carrots.  

Acidic drinks and alcohol further increase the risk of the jewel falling off earlier.

Avoid brushing your teeth directly on the jewel, during the first 24 hours.

If the jewel falls off, Do not glue it back on. Contact a professional. Either the store where it was installed before, or someone who provides similar services.  

If you want to remove the jewel, it is best adviced to seek a dentist. Do not pull it off by force, it could permanently damage your tooth.

If the time is not cancelled in time, the company has a right to charge 50% of the service.
